SAINT EXUPERY, ANTOINE DE EXUPERY
Antoine (since it is a French name, it should be pronounced ´Antwuan´) is the author of this book, which is his most famous short novel. But he not only wrote The Little Prince, he has other books for grown-ups like L?aviteur, Night Flight -in which he tells his adventures when he worked in the air postal service-, and Wind, Sand and Stars, among others. They are all very enjoyable because the author writes about his experiences as a pilot, since this was his other job, besides writing. Maybe he never imagined that he was going to be so famous as a writer. But we know how surprising life is. As a matter of fact, from the beginning, his life was full of little and big wonders. He was born on the 29th of June, 1900, in Lyon, France. He was the third of five children. When he was going to be four years old, something very sad happened, his father died. Then his mother took charge of the family. Like any other children, he went to elementary school and later on, he finished high school. Afterwards, he would study to be a pilot.
