O2 is the new edition of Oxygen series for Bachillerato. Like its predecessor, O2 is a four-level, semester-based course, in line with the RIEMS reform, the CEFR, and the Competency Framework, but has been brought up-to-date to incorporate the 2011 DGB program, as well as an increased competency focus. O2 retains all the great features of the original series clear didactic sequencing, inductive and deductive approaches to new language, integrated workbook pages, and authentic task-based production, but has been redesigned based on feedback from teachers and academic coordinators. The result is a course that blends traditional teaching techniques with the pedagogical and technological demands of modern teaching, while at the same time offering teachers far greater curricular flexibility and more in-depth classroom support.
